Include me in the work of your creation. But I am a person, a person who can think and feel and create - and work. Father of creation, you gave me life, help me to fulfil it, help to change the minds — now closed - to see me as a person who will give and not one who takes. Lord God, grant that in our work we may deal fairly with one another. Fairness is both of the giver and the receiver. Give us the courage, as Jesus does, to challenge unjust practices, may we not walk by on the other side.
With the help of the Holy Spirit may we have the grace to respect all, whether in work, or seeking it. Father, help me to not rely on myself, but on Your divine power when I enter my workplace. I pray that I remember that although I feel weak, You have made me strong.
I give You all the glory and honor, Amen. I pray that although I may not like my job or although it may be hard, let my mind be focused on You. Father, I pray right now that I work as though I am for You rather than people. I pray that you bring peace to us in the midst of conflict and chaos, and that you would be near to each of us. I know that you are a loving and gracious God, and I pray that you would help me to be more loving and gracious toward my coworkers today.
May I find humility in you, and may I be the first to forgive, to make amends, and to move forward in a healthy way. You have placed me in this job, among these people, and I pray that I would glorify you through all of my actions and conversations here. Help me to see others the way you see them, and give me an extra measure of grace and patience today.
Lord, thank you for the blessing of my business or ministry. I am grateful that you planted a seed in my heart and gave me the resources and opportunity to use my gifts to serve others.
Lord please show me what you want me to do next with the gift of my work. Teach me to make wise decisions and keep my eyes focused on the path you set before me. Help me avoid temptations and distractions that lead me astray. Lord, give me the courage and faith to follow your call — even when it means taking risks. Protect me from the doubts and fears that prevent me from fulfilling your purpose for me.
Help me to trust in you and feel your never-ending love and presence. Heavenly Lord, may the words of your gospel be always in our hearts. As I work, help me work with all of my might, but also help me know when I have to step aside, in order for you to step in and work in a mighty way.
Help me have wisdom to know how to abide in you. Help me avoid burnout by letting you be you. This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.
