What makeup products have good staying power on stage and for camera? Rochelle: We use a setting spray; it's like a hairspray for the face. It's by Urban Decay, it really works. It's not sticky, it just feels like water.
I used it on my wedding day. What are your wedding beauty tips Una and Rochelle? Any to share with Frankie? Rochelle: Use that! It was really hot on my wedding day so I had to keep putting powder on.
Una: Carry around a blot powder so you're not shiny in photographs. Rochelle: With your hair, don't do anything too different to what you usually have. You wanna feel like you. Wavy will last all day and if it drops in the heat it won't look bad. Una: You want to feel your best, have your hair how you love it on a night out.
Frankie: My dad always used to say "why do women always go all different with their look and they change everything on that day, they look like a different person! I'll always stick to that. What do you think you'll do with your hair for your wedding Frankie? There's not much I can do with it is there?! If you could only have one makeup product for the rest of your lives what would it be?
Una: Garnier Perfect Blur, a base to underneath your foundation which really sets foundation and takes away pores and fine lines. Mollie: Better Skin, a Maybelline foundation which is really good for your skin. It lasts all day. I find a lot of foundations slip off all day. Frankie: Moisturiser. If I put makeup on without it, my skin feels horrible. Vanessa: Baby Lips by Maybelline.
I need to have moisture on my lips. I HATE dry lips. Rochelle: The HD brow palette to top up your brows. You fill them in and mask them if they're overgrown. What are your worst beauty habits? Rochelle: My worst is picking. As soon as I see something I pick my face. I make it worse. I have nail marks all over my face.
Do you all squeeze your spots? Frankie: Not unless I've got a massive white head on my face… Mollie: You should never squeeze — it's only ready for any action if you can scratch it off. That takes the head off if it needs to come off. Una: Take the head off with a sterile needle, stick it in and don't squeeze it in — pull it apart — then get a sterile wipe and clean it. Vanessa: She was a nurse and surgeon in a previous life!
Any other beauty tips? Rochelle: I really feel the benefit of an eye cream. Especially if we're working a lot or have been in the sun, your eyes feel quite dry. For years I was putting it on my eyelids but you're not actually supposed to, it's all about putting it beneath [gesturing to eye socket bones]. You're supposed to pat, not rub. We should bring out our own with instructions!
You each use a different Garnier Ultimate Blend on your hair, what do you use and why? Una: We've each got a product that suits our particular hair type for me it's Colour Illumination which keeps my colour in place and helps keep it longer and stronger.
Molly: Mine is for split ends, to make the hair silky. I tend to wash my hair every day because it gets greasy really quickly so my hero product is dry shampoo. It adds body to it as well and it holds more. Vanessa: I use the range for dry and damaged hair, because we get it done so much my hair easily gets dried out and this is a nourishing repair leave-in conditioner which is my hero product.
Rochelle: Mine is for dry and frizzy hair, my hero is the Sleek Perfect Oil which smells like coconuts. I put it in before and after I've blow-dried it to smooth it out a bit.
Frankie: Mine's to re-nourish the hair and give you glowy shine back when it goes dull. Tricia Middleton Artist. Torchered Artist. Terence Lambert Wildlife Artist. Thomas Peckham Providence Artist.
